This course will deliver key concepts and understanding to be a solid DevOps Engineer. The course includes:
- Core concepts for Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and DevOps
- Jenkins features and functionalities used to implement CI/CD
- How to build Continuous Delivery (CD) Pipelines for Users
- Introduction to AWS
- Fundamentals of well architected framework covering key concepts, design principles for architecting in the cloud, and the five pillars
- Deep dive into some of the core AWS Services, including EC2, ELB, ASG, IAM, S3, EBS, ECS, RDS
- Deploying applications in AWS
- Infrastructure as Code via CloudFormation, and Terraform
- Application configuration management using Ansible
The lab exercises will allow students to practice the concepts covered in the class.
